LIZA

This is Liza. She was born on March 19, 1994 at YNPRC. Her mother is Georgia and her father is Jimoh. Georgia was one of the chimpanzees sent in 2016 from Yerkes to a unaccredited wildlife park in Kent, England after a suit against the US Fish and Wildlife Service to keep Georgia and six other chimpanzees in the US failed. Jimoh retired to Chimp Haven and passed away in 2014.
