GEORGIA

This is Georgia. Georgia is the daughter of Borie and Jiggs and the mother of Liza and Cathy. She was born August 27, 1980 and lived at the Field Station at Yerkes until 2016, when she and Agatha, Elvira, Faye, Fritz, Lucas, and Tara were sent overseas to an unaccredited zoo in Kent, England.  A lawsuit against the Fish and Wildlife service, seeking to keep the chimpanzees in the US failed.
